There were a few mistakes or misunderstandings but in the end everything was correct.  Shipping charges were, as far as I am concerned, excessive but I needed the product due to hail damage.  Samantha was very very helpful in getting things corrected and giving me name is installer and in fact was someone that actually worked for them in Missouri area. I do believe the system works well for some customers. This has been my experience - the canopies will go off the track and not stay in place when there is wind. If it rains, the rain, of course, will also come through the canopy openings. If you have deck furniture or other items that you don't want to get wet, it is a lot of watching the weather and uncovering/covering furniture. The orginal system was not cut correctly and the company did offer to fix the error at no charge, but it was pretty time consuming and a lot of back-and-forth communication. I reached out to the owner as well to let him know the exact details of the error in measurements as well as a few other bumps I had with the system being installed properly, but he never responded. And, I felt that was disappointing. In hindsight, I would have rather done a full-coverage roof. The system is just not the right fit for me, but it does seem like it is for others.

Cannot recommend. Bad experience. Framing needed to be secured 3 separate times by installer The awnings don’t stay in locked position and are constantly free floating in wind Then it’s difficult to pull free from locked position and I’ve jabbed myself when to pole used to move the awning slips off the end The fabric is wrinkled from the constant pulling I am on the ladder almost every weekend Tracking needs constant lubricant and cleaning Basically more work than fun

Got a 6 foot backyard blind from these guys and installed it on my west-facing front porch. Now I can actually enjoy sitting outside and reading a book on a sunny afternoon instead of baking in the sun while going blind. Totally worth the money.

We saw ShadeTree products at both thevDayton and Columbus, OH Home Shows. We compared them to other similar vendors and thought ShadeTree seemed the simplest and most maintenance free. We had a 10x20 covered pergola installed late summer 2016 and didn't get to use it much. However we are anxiously looking forward to using it next spring. We also bought covers for our shades instead of taking them down each fall. They installed easily. We are very happy with our decision to purchase from ShadeTree. We installed our Shadetree Canopy 11 years ago on the west side of our house.  In Michigan we enjoy the sun as well as winter....and lotsa wind. Our canopy is stood the test of time.  Only now are we replacing some of the hardware.  We went with the Sunbrella fabric and it is still looking good.
